Information & Policies
General Information: Since total enrollment is limited for every session, early registration for session preferences is strongly advised. All applications are handled in the order in which they are received.
If you are enrolling for the Camp Open House, Family Camp, Parent & Me Camp, Dutch Oven Overnights, or Alumni Retreat, please indicate how many people are attending in the comment section of this application.
Enrollment for time periods other than regular sessions may be made by calling 1-800-200-CAMP, or by adding your request to the comment section of this application.
For Adventure & Traditional Camps Only: Where there is more than one camper from the same family, a 5% discount applies against the combined regular tuition amount. Additionally, there is a 3% discount if total tuition is paid with the application by May 1st.
Tuition: Tuition includes all meals, lodging, instruction, guidance, training, and program supplies.
Tuition does not include transportation between the camper's home and Salt Lake International Airport, personal spending money, personal equipment purchases or fishing licenses, or trading post spending many.
Transportation: Transportation from the Salt Lake International Airport is provided for Adventure Camp Participants only (when enrollment period corresponds to the regular schedule of camp check in and check out). There is an extra $50 transportation charge for scheduling arrival and departure other than the dates indicated in the application. Campers may also be dropped off directly at camp.
Transportation is not provided for Traditional Camp, Family Camp, Dutch oven Overnights, Parent & Me or CIT programs. Campers must be dropped off and picked up at camp.
Terms of Payment: A reservation deposit is required with the enrollment application. The tuition balance is due on or before June 1st. Installment payment is available by prior arrangement with the directors. Deposits on declined applications will be refunded in full if done in accordance with our cancelation policy as documented below.
Deposits Rates are per person as follows: $20 for Dutch Oven Overnight; $50 for Family Camp and Parent & Me Camp; $200 for Parent & Me Adventure Camp, CIT & Traditional Camp; and $500 for Adventure Camp.
Cancellation: Reservation deposits and tuition payments will be refunded for cancellations received by May 1st. No deposits can be refunded for cancellations after May 1st; however, the full deposit amount will be credited to any future year's enrollment within the family. Special Conditions & Arrangements: Since camp expenses are fixed in advanced based upon definite number of campers for specified time periods, no rebates or deductions from tuition can be made for leaving camp early. For this reason and due to other difficulties arising from late cancellations, only half of the camp tuition can be refunded for cancellation received during the two weeks prior to each session.
Additional Detailed Planning Information: Additional information concerning the applicant may be sought through a personal interview or phone contact made by the camp director. Information helpful to us in working with the camper and concerning his/her interest, abilities, medical history, experiences, etc., will be requested following enrollment.
Suggested clothing and personal equipment lists and detailed planning information and instructions will be either mailed or emailed to you upon enrollment.
Parent & Camper Agreement
The parent and camper applicant understand that smoking, chewing tobacco, or the use of any alcoholic beverages, narcotics, controlled substances and non-prescription drugs are not permitted at Navajo Trails Camp. It is understood that the Directors reserve the right to dismiss, without refund and at the expensive of the parent or guardian, any camper whose influence is deemed harmful to others or to the best interest of the camp. In signing this application, the parent/guardian certifies that the camper is in good, normal health, has no abnormal tendencies, is subject to taking reasonable directions and would make a desirable companion for other campers.
I understand the program objectives and realize that smoking or the use of tobacco in any form, the possession or use of any narcotics, legally or illegally controlled substances, non-prescription drugs or alcoholic beverages or any conduct that the Directors deem harmful to others will result in dismissal from the Navajo Trails program with no tuition refund and at the expense of my parent or guardian.
I also understand and agree that the photographs taken of the campers during the summer season may be used for Navajo Trails marketing purposes.
