Schedule

For Campers 5 to 12 years old and an Adult Chaperone.  Campers can bring a Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle or any adult over the age of 18 years old.   We recommend each camper bring his/her own adult chaperone. However, a parent can bring more than one child. 

 

A variety of programs will be available.  You can  attend any activity that you choose.  You can opt out of any program to rest, shower, go on a hike or do your own family activity.   You are also welcome to come and go from the camp as necessary.  

 

Fees include two night accommodation (cabins), all meals/snacks, program supplies, staff, insurance, and housekeeping supplies. 

 

 

 

There are separate shower and restroom facilities for men & women with flush toilets, electricity and hot water.  Cabins have cots with mattresses.  Men and Women (boys & girls) will have separate cabins unless all are the same family members.  Cabins sleep 4 to 20 people.  Meals are served in the lodge.  Dinner on day 1, all meals on day 2, and breakfast on day 3 will be served.

If you would like to stay in camp before or after this camp, you can. (There will not be any programming.) Meals will be available for purchase ($10 per adult/$8 per child per meal).  You can rent a cabin for $50 per night or $15 for tent camping. This is available Saturday night through Wednesday night before and/or after your program. A great opportunity to explore nearby Capital Reef or other nearby attractions!

Program Descriptions

All Camp: A camp-wide themed  party with a variety of activities.

 

Batik & Tye Die:  Batik is an art form that uses wax to make designs.  Banadana will be available, but you can bring your own white shirts etc. to die also. 

 

Block Printing:   Draw up your design.  Carve out your pattern.  Use ink to print your design. 

 

Candy Making:  Make your own Ice Cream for Two, Taffy, & Suckers. 

 

Campfire: A production of songs & skits.

 

Camp Wide Games: Poison Peanut Butter Swamp, Oh Deer!, Mario Brothers….Join us on the lawn for some of our most popular camp games.

 

Disc Golf & Bucking Bronco:   For Disc Golf, or Frisbee Golf, you through the Frisbees into a basket on a set course.  Try to stay on the bunking bronco ride for the longest time.

 

Fishing:  Children and Adults 12 years and older will need to bring your own fishing license & poles.  You’ll fish in the Fremont River, right in camp.  The camp does have a limited number of poles if you need to barrow them.

 

Flora & Fauna Hike: Take an easy hike to hear stories about the plants and animals that live around camp.

 

Fort Building:    Quit popular.   Create your own fort in the woods using ropes, tarps, and natural objects. 

 

Homemade facials: Fun for everyone! Make your own steam, scrubs, and masks! Give yourself or others a facial.

 

 

 

Lummi Sticks & Origami: A game for two with song and coordinated moves.  Origami is the ancient art of folding paper into animals and other designs. 

 

Madd Science:  Make your own slime, glop and other wild experiments.

 

Old Mill Tour: Step into the past! See all the inner workings of the three story old grain mill. Hear stories about life on the ranch and history of the camp. It’s pretty cool.

 

Outdoor Movie:   A movie shown on our outdoor big screen.

 

Pottery (Hand Building): Try hand building techniques to make a mask, plague, box, pot, or animal. Due to time constraints your pieces will not be fired.

 

Sardines:   One pair hides.   The rest sneak around the camp to try to find them and hides with them.   The last group to find them is it for the next round. 

 

Sculpty Clay:  Use your imagination to make animals, name tags, plaques.  Clay bakes hard to make permanent creations. 

 

Soccer:  A pick up game of soccer on the lawn. 

 

Spy Kids:   Decode riddles, secret codes, and clues to solve the mystery.  Not just for kids.

 

Wood Burning: Decorate your own camp memento.

 

Zip Line & Swimming:   Join us at the pond for Zip Line and Swimming!

 

Hemp & Boondoggle:   Make bracelets or key chains.
