Navajo Trails is deep in the heart of what outdoor lovers have come to know as the “Golden Circle.”  Within several hours drive there are more national and state parks, forest and recreational areas than any other area of this size in the USA.  Flanked to the East by Capital Reef National Park, to the South by Dixie National Forest and to the North by Fish Lake National Forest, Navajo Trails Adventure Camp is an ideal location for our unique summer program for youth.

The weather at Navajo Trails is very mild, most days are warm usually in the high to mid 80’s.  The nights cool down a bit to around 65 degrees, perfect for our program and activities.  The area does receive infrequent rain storms but they typically last for a short time in the day and usually arrive for an ideal afternoon cool down.  The base camp benefits from numerous shade trees and the fully enclosed dining hall is comfortable and convenient for mealtime.

Favorite wildlife that frequent the camp include our adopted small herd of desert big horn Sheep.  They like to live in the red rock cliffs that border the camp and they often come down the fields and meandering river.  The wild sheep have made the ranch their year round home.  Rabbits and deer can often be seen around the property as well.  The Fremont River runs through the camp allowing for excellent trout fishing.  Our horses stay in the pasture at the ranch for the camp season and other live stock like cows and buffalo graze on ranches and in pastures near by.
