Program Descriptions

Astronomy: Constellations and stories about our night sky.

All Camp: A camp-wide themed “Out of this World” party with a variety of activities.

Archeological Dig: Artifacts tell the tales! Get your tools and brushes to screen the earth for evidence to piece together the “past”.

Bracelet Making: Cool bracelet designs for boys and girls. Simple projects for our young campers and more intricate patterns for those with better fine motor skills.

Cake Decorating: Fancy techniques to make your cakes look great.  Help decorate a cake for the entire camp to enjoy.

Campfire: A production of songs & skits from our Toy Story Emcees.

Camp Wide Games: Poison Peanut Butter Swamp, Oh Deer!, Mario Brothers….Join us for some of our most popular camp games.

Crazy Auction: Bring 5 to 10 random items from your Cabin. As teams you’ll convince the judges that your item is the auction winner. A crazy good time.

Dance: Another popular workshop at camp! Learn a choreographed hip hop dance and a country line dance. It’s super fun.

Flora/Fauna Hike: Take an easy hike to hear stories about the plants and animals that live around camp.

Homemade Facials: Fun for everyone! Make your own steam, scrubs, and masks. Give yourself or others a facial.

Leatherwork: Mallet and stamp to create your own leather creation. This workshop can be noisy.

Old Mill Tour: Step into the past! See all the inner workings of the three story old grain mill. Hear stories about life on the ranch and history of the camp. It’s pretty cool.

Photography: “Ansel Adams” school of photography. We’ll take a walk about camp to try techniques that the professionals use to make your pictures more interesting. Bring a camera if you have one, or just come along.

Pottery (Hand Building): Get your hands into clay! Try hand building techniques to make a mask, plague, box, pot, or animal. Due to time constraints your pieces will not be fired.

Sushi: Cut, Chop and Roll! Learn to prepare your own sushi rolls.  Note: There will NOT be any raw fish items in these rolls.

Theater Games: This workshop is this camp’s secret specialty! With dress ups and props, silliness and stories, you’re going to love it.

Treasure Hunt: ARGH Matey, follow a pirate treasure map and clues to unearth the treasure.

Water Balloon Volleyball & Water Games:
Want to cool off and get a little wet? Come and enjoy the water games or you can pick up a game of volleyball.

Watercolor (Landscape): “Bob Ross” school of watercolor. Follow the instructor to learn to paint a landscape, or paint something on your own.

Wood Burning/Painting: Decorate your own camp memento. Wood burning isn’t recommended for our young children. Older children will need adult supervision. Painting is for everyone.

Yoga & Relaxation: Be an eagle, air plane, or standing duck! Come rejuvenate mind body and soul during these gentle stretches and poses.
